Southern bred, but NYC based, Marie Cecile Anderson and Katy Frame, deliver hilariously dirty country tunes with a wink and a smile. Reformed Whores craftily set their bawdy lyrics to sweet melodies and harmonies while playing the accordion, acoustic guitar, and ukulele. Their smiles may be sweet, but they could make a gang-banger in Brooklyn blush! Reformed Whores have traveled across America straddling both comedy clubs and music venues!
On the road, the girls have opened for Les Claypool’s Duo de Twang, Alice Cooper, Godsmack, the Reverend Horton Heat, comedian Ralphie May, and many more. They’ve been featured on IFC, PBS, CBS, IAF.tv, Gotham Comedy Live on AXS tv, The Huffington Post, Sports Illustrated, The Washington Post, Nerve.com, BUST Magazine, and Glamour Magazine. The girls have headlined at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville, Chicago, and St. Charles. They’ve performed at Carolines on Broadway, The Improv in Atlanta, BAM in Brooklyn, The Meltdown in LA, Punch Line in SF, NY Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest, the Wild Wild West Comedy Festival, Red Clay Comedy Festival, Piccolo Spoleto, and their all time favorite place to perform, Theatre 99 in Charleston, SC.
Hosting this show will be Blaire Postman
Blaire Postman is an energetic, authoritative, high-voltage stand-up comedian. Her performances include unexpected material ranging from original songs, living with recovering alcoholics, outlining the dark history of Super Bowl halftime shows, the dangers of running like a well-endowed hobbit and a JPOP style cat rap. She's often sort of loud and excitable, but essentially pretty nice.
Also performing on this show will be
