The 2nd Day of the Cape Fear Comedy Festival kicked off with a live recording of Here We Are with Shane Mauss. This was the first live recording of Shane’s Podcast. At 7:30pm a showcase began at Reel Cafe that quickly packed out. The crowd was warm and receptive with proved to be a constant for the evening. At that same time Fake Brothers began their awesome May.day show at City Stage.

The headline show for the evening was “A Good Trip with Shane Mauss”.  The openers we Allie Amrien, Colton DeMonte, Chris Alan and Tim Harmston. To say they all killed is not some embellished promoter spouted bullshit. The room was on fire with laughter setting up Shane perfectly. Shane Mauss then proceeded to create a perfect mix of stand-up show and a Ted Talk about psychedelics. Those who attended can tell you, it was something to be a part of.

Tonight (Friday May 20th)
Tonight Mary Mack headlines Dead Crow Comedy Room to kick things off. A showcase begins at the same time at City Stage. At 8:15pm Dusty Slay performs at City Stage recording his second comedy album.  Advance tickets are only available for Mary Mack’s shows through DeadCrowComedy.com.  Reel Cafe shows are $10 and it is only $5 to be a part of Dusty Slay’s Album Recording.
