Day One of the 7th Annual Cape Fear Comedy Festival sees increased attendance
Last night (Wed May 18th) was the opening night of the Cape Fear Comedy Festival. The very first comic to perform was Joe Pettis hosting Ben Palmer’s Picture Show. The crowd was light at first but quickly filed in and filled the room with laughter. Shortly thereafter comedy began at Reel Cafe.
The first Reel Cafe showcase was hosted by John Gray who pumped the crowd up by doing 7 jump kicks. The audience settled in pretty quickly with highlight sets from Lauren Faber, Chris Alan and an amazing closing set by Kevin Yee that brought the house down.

Day 2 begins at 5:30pm tonight at Dead Crow Comedy Room with a LIVE podcast recording from Here we Are with Shane Mauss. This is FREE to attend and will be available on Itunes to listen to later next month, so come be a part of the recording.
